I just came across some interesting figures about Pakistan's population. It turns out there are currently about 254 million people living there, making it the fifth most populous country in the world. Can you imagine, that's about 3% of the entire human population on the planet.

What surprised me the most is how young the population of Pakistan is. The average age there is only 20.6 years. Plus, the demographics are growing quite actively, with an annual growth rate of about 1.57%. According to forecasts, by the middle of this year, Pakistan's population should surpass 255 million.

It's interesting to consider how such rapid population growth affects the country's economy and infrastructure. A young population is both a potential and a challenge at the same time.
