I have been reviewing some of the most interesting Chinese cryptocurrencies that are worth holding in your portfolio or at least monitoring. It’s no coincidence that several of these focus on real-world applications and not just speculation.
Let’s start with NEO. This project positions itself as China’s Ethereum and truly has potential with its focus on smart contracts and digital identity. It is currently trading around $2.94 with moderate movement over 24 hours. The interesting part is that it provides a robust environment for DApps, something the Chinese market needs.
Next is Conflux, which I find quite solid. It uses the Tree-Graph mechanism to achieve high speed and is one of the few projects with official approval within China. CFX is at $0.06 and has shown a positive movement of 3.62% in the last day. Its focus on Web3 and digital identity positions it well for government collaborations.
VeChain is another Chinese project that deserves serious attention. It connects blockchain with real supply chains, something that works in industry, fashion, automobiles, and food. VET is at $0.01 and has increased by 2.70% in 24 hours. This kind of practical application is what sets a Chinese cryptocurrency apart with a real use case.
Ontology is the most focused on digital identity and data management. ONT is trading at $0.06 with minor changes. Its proposal of decentralized verification systems and secure storage makes it relevant for companies seeking blockchain solutions.
Finally, QTUM represents something interesting: it combines Bitcoin’s security with Ethereum’s programmability. It’s at $0.93 and has risen 1.19% in 24 hours. For developers and companies seeking flexibility and performance, this is a balanced option.
What I see is that these Chinese cryptocurrencies are not just speculative tokens, but projects with real applications. If you’re looking to diversify your portfolio with Chinese assets that have solid fundamentals, these five deserve to be on your radar.
