Recently, people keep asking me: why does on-chain data always "pause" for a moment, even though blocks are being produced? Basically, many people aren't looking at the chain itself, but at the indexers/Subgraphs that organize the data before feeding it to you; when they get congested or need to reorganize and rollback, the front end suddenly seems to forget everything. Plus, with RPC rate limiting, especially during airdrop seasons when everyone is completing tasks and earning points like clocking in at work, it's normal for the interfaces to be overwhelmed. You might think the chain is slow, but actually it's like security at the gate making you wait in line. To make an analogy, it's like a food delivery arriving at a neighborhood, but the rider can't get in, and the property management is still checking in, so your phone just shows "Out for delivery"... Anyway, I usually wait for two minutes first, then check if it's the same set of nodes or the same indexer acting up.
