Just noticed Meta rolled out some new AI stuff on Instagram for younger users. Basically they're using a movie-rating system approach, so the AI won't serve up anything that'd be inappropriate for 13-year-olds. Pretty smart move honestly. With all the AI trends happening right now, it's interesting to see platforms actually thinking about age-appropriate guardrails instead of just pushing features everywhere. Makes sense given the whole debate around teen safety online. Curious if other platforms follow suit with similar AI trends in their own apps. You think this kind of age-gating actually works or is it more for optics?
