Just saw Rampage Jackson talking about how he made more money streaming in 8 months than he did fighting for 20 years straight — including his entire UFC run. Like... that's actually wild when you think about it. The guy was a UFC light heavyweight champion, knocked out legends like Ricardo Arona with those insane slams, fought Wanderlei Silva, Chuck Liddell, the whole legendary roster. His Rampage Jackson net worth is estimated around 4 million, but apparently streaming changed the game for him completely. Makes you wonder if the whole traditional sports career path is even worth it anymore. Even for absolute legends, the money just isn't there compared to what content creators are pulling in now. Streaming is genuinely paying better than a lifetime in combat sports at this point.
