I set a rule for myself: when encountering a new protocol, don't rush to jump into tasks first. Instead, take a look at the GitHub and audit reports, even if I don't understand everything, I need to see if the "updates suddenly increased," "whether issues were truly fixed," and "who did the audit, whether it only reviewed the old version." The most important things are still upgrade permissions and multi-signature, who can change the contract with one click, how many people are required to sign, and whether the signers are the same group... Frankly, if these details are not solid, no matter how large the TVL is, I would be tempted but won't make heavy bets. Recently, everyone has been using ETF capital flows and US stock risk appetite to explain the rise and fall of the crypto market. I also find it interesting, but what really helps me sleep well are these details of "can it be changed, who has the final say." Anyway, I'll just stick to this for now.
