You know, few people talk about Kimbal Musk, although this guy's story is no less interesting than his famous brother's. Recently, he posted quite a sharp comment on X about Trump's politics and tariffs — directly accusing them of creating a structural tax on American consumers. It's funny because Kimbal himself clearly isn't afraid to voice criticism, even when it concerns people from his circle.
This guy is a billionaire, although his wealth (around 700 million) mainly comes from Tesla shares he owns. But here's what's interesting: if you saw the brothers side by side, you'd immediately notice the resemblance. Both were born in Pretoria, have the same square jaw, straight nose, green eyes. They even share citizenship — South African, Canadian, and American. However, Kimbal is hard to confuse with Elon: he's almost always in a cowboy hat, that's his signature.
The Musk family history is quite tough. Along with his younger sister Tosca, they experienced family violence, which led to their mother Maye divorcing back in the late 70s. After that, the family moved to Canada and the US. Both brothers later created Zip2 — an internet business startup they sold to Compaq in 1999 for 307 million dollars. But while Elon went further into technology, Kimbal focused on other projects and social initiatives. An interesting character, honestly.
