A verdict has been issued in the United States for a member of a crypto group that stole over $250 million
20-year-old Marlon Ferro, known as “GothFerrari,” received 78 months in prison for involvement in a scheme with hacks, social engineering, and physical robberies to steal hardware wallets.
Ferro intervened when online methods failed. He participated in breaking into victims' homes in Texas and New Mexico.
The court also ordered him to pay $2.5 million in compensation and added an additional 3 years of supervision after release.
