I noticed an interesting case about MrBeast — this guy literally built an entire media empire in just a few years. His net worth is estimated at around 500 million dollars, and that’s while he’s still far from 30. Donaldson has topped the list of the highest-paid YouTubers on the planet for two consecutive years — in 2021, he earned about 54 million, and experts predicted that by 2022, his income could rise to 110 million.

By the way, at one point he was even looking for investors for his content studio. If the deal had gone through, the value of his main asset would have reached one and a half billion. He has an interesting attitude toward success — he says that the chances of becoming a billionaire increase if you don’t even set that as a goal. You just need to focus on making the company awesome. The guy is such a successful businessman that he even gave lectures at Harvard Business School.

His entire empire is built around a content studio in Greenville, where he grew up. About 50 people work there — scriptwriters, editors, assistants. Some of them are his friends and relatives who have been with him since the very first days of the channel. Now, a whole network of channels operates from the studio: the main MrBeast with 142 million subscribers, plus Beast Reacts, MrBeast Gaming, Beast Philanthropy, and several other projects. All of this is produced from one place that is constantly expanding.

But content is only part of MrBeast’s wealth. In 2020, he launched MrBeast Burger, and it was a wild story. He first opened a free snack bar in his city, and on the opening day, the car line stretched over 30 kilometers. Then he realized he could scale through virtual restaurants — orders via app, prepared in independent cafes with which the brand has partnership agreements. In three months, they sold over a million burgers. Now, the network has more than 300 locations in the US and is expanding to other countries.

Then he added snacks — Feastables, a line of chocolate and cookies. In January 2022, he launched it with a bang: prize draws, a contest with golden tickets in chocolates, a finale judged by Gordon Ramsay. The winner received a chocolate factory. In the first few months, sales exceeded 10 million dollars.

That’s how MrBeast’s wealth gradually grows. He’s not just a YouTuber who makes videos. He’s a guy who understood how to build a full-fledged business ecosystem from content. Studio, restaurants, snacks — and all of it works together. It will be interesting to see where he goes next.
