Just found out about this wolfdog called Cadabomb Okami that just sold for $5.7 million in India and honestly I'm still processing this. Like, that's more than most people's houses cost. The buyer is this celebrity dog breeder named S Sathish who apparently has a thing for rare and exotic breeds.
So get this - Cadabomb Okami is a mix between a Caucasian Shepherd and an actual wolf, and this is the first time a wolfdog like this has ever been sold on the market. The guy already dropped $3.25 million on a rare Chow Chow before, so clearly he's serious about collecting premium dogs. He's got over 150 of them on a seven-acre estate with a whole team just taking care of them.
What's wild is that Sathish makes up to $2,800 every half hour just showing off his rare breeds. So basically Cadabomb Okami is an investment that'll probably pay for itself pretty quick if he keeps doing those showcase appearances. The whole thing feels like peak luxury pet culture to me, but I guess when you're that into dogs, nothing's too expensive.
