Zcash jumps 30% as $60M in ZEC shorts are liquidated
Zcash rose more than 30% in 24 hours, forcing about $60 million in ZEC short liquidations. ZEC perpetual futures volume exceeded $1.3 billion, and more than 5,000 traders were liquidated for about $62 million in total. The move appears to have followed Multicoin Capital’s disclosure that it has held a significant ZEC position since February.
