Lost 10k overnight because I forgot to set a SL. Shit happens. Mistakes and losses are part of a trader's journey, nobody gets through this game without them.
So how do I deal with it? I go back to the trade. I question my setup, where was the invalidation? I question my mindset, why was I so impulsive and careless? And I question my execution, where were my limit orders, and why was there no SL?
After that, I don't jump straight into the next setup out of frustration. I step back, breathe, and come back tomorrow with a clear head, fresh eyes, clean setup, and everything in check.
And if we're heading into a bullish phase, the worst thing you can do is overtrade an uptrend.
