What Trump fears most has happened: oil prices are out of control, and BTC is also becoming unruly
Trump might be very frustrated lately.
The "Freedom Plan" originally had a solid strategy:
Lower oil prices → reduce inflation → promote rate cuts → stimulate risk assets.
But then a loud explosion in the Middle East disrupted the entire plan.
After the Fujaira oil tank attack, Brent crude oil shot up to $114.
The market instantly shifted into "safe-haven mode."
And BTC also began to fluctuate violently.
Why?
Because BTC is increasingly acting like a "mood amplifier" for global liquidity.
When liquidity is loose, it rises wildly.
When liquidity is tight, its volatility is also at its peak.
So now the question is:
How much longer can the "Freedom Plan" last?
If oil prices stay high, U.S. inflation data is likely to worsen again.
Then the Federal Reserve's room to cut rates will be squeezed.
And the most dependent factor for risk assets is liquidity.
So now everyone is watching the Oman negotiations.
Because they could determine the trend of global assets in the coming months.
If Iran makes concessions on uranium enrichment, the market will immediately interpret it as a sign of easing tensions.
Oil prices will fall.
The dollar will retreat.
BTC will rebound.
But if negotiations break down, things will become more complicated.
The market will start to worry:
Will Middle Eastern risks escalate further?
And once high oil prices persist, not only BTC but also U.S. stocks will struggle.
Interestingly, many institutions now have a noticeably different attitude toward BTC.
In the past, they treated BTC as a casino.
Now, they see it more as a long-term asset allocation.
So in this round of volatility, although BTC fluctuates violently, there has been no liquidity panic.
This indicates that the underlying market capital structure is changing.
That’s also why many say:
BTC now is no longer the BTC of 2022.
But short-term trading remains risky.
Because the biggest feature of the current market is:
News-driven.
A single negotiation message can cause the market to reverse instantly.
So the best strategy now is not to "bet on heroic moments."
But to:
Be patient.
Hold positions.
Maintain discipline. #CLARITY法案推进受阻
