The word "modular chain" sounds very grand, but the most intuitive changes for end users are just two: more cross-chain transfers, and more unstable costs and experiences (sometimes ridiculously cheap, sometimes stuck if a bridge is blocked). I’m too lazy to explain how the underlying split works; honestly, it’s more like “using it more like a patchwork,” the benefit being that applications can iterate faster, but the downside is you need to pay more attention to which layer your assets are on and which path you’re taking.

Recently, hardware wallets are out of stock again, phishing links are everywhere, and the more "modular" it gets, the easier it is to get confused by entry points. My current filter for information is just one rule: only remember the official domain + two or three of your frequently used entry points, everything else, even if hot, first wait 24 hours. If you miss it, so be it; there’s too much information to keep up with… take it slow.
