Following the incident where a girl fell to her death from a swing at the Huaying Waterfall in Sichuan, within just a few days, the family of 16-year-old Liu Moumou agreed to a compensation plan.

The more I think about this matter, the more heartbreaking it becomes. On the afternoon of May 3rd, at the Malu Rock Adventure Park in Huaying City, Guang'an City, the girl repeatedly exclaimed while experiencing the waterfall swing: "Not tied tightly, not tied tightly," her voice clear and audible. But the staff ignored her warnings and still pushed her off the safety platform.
Less than a few meters after sliding out, the safety rope suddenly detached, and she fell from a high altitude, hitting the protruding rocks of the waterfall, and unfortunately died on the way to the hospital.
Single rope without backup, equipment operated illegally, operators working without certification— a series of human negligence and operational chaos collectively caused this preventable tragedy.
The authorities have classified it as a production safety responsibility accident. The park has been closed for rectification, and the relevant responsible persons are under investigation and handling.
But reality is so cruel. Ordinary families cannot afford long lawsuits, nor can they bear the heavy pressure of life.
The seemingly quick compromise is actually filled with helplessness and heartache behind it.
