1inch clarifies that it was not affected by the TrustedVolumes vulnerability incident, ensuring user fund security
BlockBeats News, May 7 — 1inch tweeted that they have noticed misleading reports regarding the TrustedVolumes vulnerability incident. 1inch and all 1inch protocols have not been affected by this incident, and the safety of the system, infrastructure, and user funds remains secure. TrustedVolumes, as an independent liquidity provider, is used by multiple protocols within the industry and is not exclusive to 1inch. 1inch stated that they are continuously monitoring the situation and actively assisting relevant security parties.
Earlier reports indicated that an attacker stole approximately $5.87 million worth of funds from TrustedVolumes. The attacker used a public function to register as an AllowedOrderSigner, then executed orders to transfer pre-authorized funds from the victim’s address.
