AI "Neolab" list expands to 63 companies: OpenAI-affiliated startups collectively targeting a billion-dollar valuation

Crypto Realm Network reports that Menlo Ventures partner Deedy Das’ updated AI “Neolab” roster has grown from 50 companies in February to 63, with a total valuation of about $300 billion. The valuations of these companies are all over $1 billion, with almost no scaled revenue. Many of the founders come from top labs such as OpenAI, DeepMind, and Meta AI. Representative companies include SSI, founded by Ilya Sutskever, the former Chief Scientist of OpenAI (valued at about $32 billion); Thinking Machines Lab, founded by Mira Murati, the former OpenAI CTO (funding target of $50 billion); and Reflection AI (valued at about $25 billion, supported by NVIDIA). According to PitchBook data, among the 95 newly added unicorns worldwide in 2026 Q1, 60 are AI-related, and AI companies have already accounted for 47.6% of the total global unicorn valuation.
