Recently, people keep asking me "what exactly do data availability, ordering, and finality mean," and honestly, don't be intimidated by the terminology. Just focus on one main thread: whether others can see the transactions you send out, the order in which they are packed into blocks, and whether it's ultimately irreversible. Being visible = you can trace issues; ordering = whether you'll be inexplicably front-run or overpay; finality = don't think your transaction is confirmed only to be rolled back later, which can cause a total meltdown.

In the past couple of days, before the upgrade/maintenance of that mainstream public chain, everyone in the group was speculating whether the ecosystem would move away. I think there's no need to rush into chasing migration hype; first, look at permissions, check the flow of funds, see if the smart contracts have a one-click rule change loophole, whether the bridge is a single point of failure—anyway, wallets are not a wish pond... that's all.
