On-chain data sometimes suddenly "lags," and it's not necessarily because your internet is slow... A couple of days ago, I was watching my positions, trying to cut losses, and the subgraph hadn't updated for half a day, which totally broke my mood. To put it simply, an indexer needs to organize a bunch of on-chain events into something you can query; if it falls behind on synchronization or if nodes/RPCs are rate-limited, what you see is like a world that's half a beat slow. Meanwhile, funding rates are extreme, and in the group, people are arguing whether to reverse or keep squeezing the bubble. My data was still spinning in circles, almost impulsively jumping in again... Now I can only look at multiple sources, preferring to act slowly rather than be fooled by "data delays" into thinking "the market has changed."
