South Korea's Industry Minister: Will announce the first investment project after the U.S. Investment Act comes into effect

South Korea’s Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, Joo Hyung-kwan, who is visiting the United States, said on the 6th that the first U.S. investment project to be promoted under the Korea-U.S. trade agreement will be announced after June. Joo Hyung-kwan will hold preliminary consultations in Washington with U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and other senior officials from the Trump administration regarding strategic investment between South Korea and the U.S., and will also communicate with lawmakers about investment in the U.S. and economic and trade matters.
