Will internal combustion engine vehicles really be phased out in five years?

The energy density of fuel is 8,000 kilowatt-hours per cubic meter, which is 20 times that of batteries.
Over the past 100 years, humans have invested hundreds of billions of dollars in battery research, only increasing from 100 watts per cubic meter to 400 watts per square meter.
Just looking at this core indicator of energy density, ordinary people will not see internal combustion engine vehicles phased out in their lifetime.
