Lately, the industry has been full of leaks one after another. While it's lively, safety really can't be taken lightly.

If your wallet isn't secure, no matter how much you earn, it's useless!

In the DePIN sector, it seems like storage, computing power, and bandwidth are the main topics. The story has been told a hundred times, and there's really nothing new. But there's one corner almost no one touches—quantum computing.
It's not that people don't want to get involved; they just can't afford it—equipment is ridiculously expensive, ordinary people can't even get close, which is completely inconsistent with the "everyone can participate" ethos of the crypto world.

@quipnetwork wants to do is to open a gap in this wall.

They don't build quantum computers, but instead set up a hybrid scheduling layer. D-Wave's quantum annealing processors are specifically designed to handle optimization problems like the Ising model (these tasks are indeed more powerful with quantum than traditional computing power), while the rest is handled by CPU/GPU.
Unified scheduling of computing power, contributors complete benchmark tests and can earn $QUIP , similar to mining logic, just that your contributed computing power might include a quantum chip.

The test network was publicly launched in April this year, with over 13,000 registered users.
D-Wave is willing to collaborate with them, which is much more reliable than a pure PPT project.

But what I care more about is another hidden thread—quantum protection for wallets.

Simply put, Quip uses WOTS+ signature technology, which doesn't require hard forks or changes to the underlying code, to add a layer of quantum defense shell to wallets on main chains like BTC, ETH, SOL.
Right now, people still think "quantum threats to Bitcoin" are a fantasy, but the vulnerabilities of SHA-256 and ECDSA are mathematically hardcoded—it's just that no one has yet built a sufficiently powerful quantum computer to break them.
The issue isn't "whether it will be attacked," but "are you prepared when it happens."

Quip's value isn't in mining coins; it's exploring two underpriced propositions:

1️⃣ Open-source computing power—bringing quantum computing out of labs and turning it into a public resource that ordinary people can participate in;
2️⃣ On-chain defense—securing the armor before the quantum threat truly materializes.

A dual narrative, maximized differentiation. But whether it can be realized depends on whether the team can navigate hardware bottlenecks, scene focus, and ecosystem cold start—stories alone aren't enough; real work is needed.
