CryptoWorld News reports that, according to Iran’s Press TV, Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf rejected recent reports about Tehran and Washington reaching some kind of agreement, saying that these reports are misleading and are part of the well-worn false media narrative originating in the United States. He mentioned on social media a report by U.S. media outlet Axios about such arrangements, and sarcastically referred to it as “operation fauxios” (“false operation”). Qalibaf pointed out that the spread of such reports reflects a common pattern in U.S. media coverage—especially reports that cite anonymous sources. Iranian officials have repeatedly dismissed these reports as baseless, and subsequent facts have always shown that these reports are wrong.
