The Dark Side of the Moon is about to complete a $2 billion fundraising round, valuing it at over $20 billion.

Kimi (The Dark Side of the Moon) is said to be nearing completion of a new fundraising round worth $2 billion, raising its post-investment valuation to over $20 billion.

This round is led by Meituan Dragonball, with participation from China Mobile, CPE (CITIC Private Equity Funds), and several other parties. Dragonball alone is reported to have invested over $200 million.

In January and February of this year, Kimi completed three funding rounds, raising $500 million, $700 million, and $700 million respectively. Including the latest round, the company has raised more than $3.9 billion in less than six months.

The new valuation is also said to be more than four times higher than the approximately $4.3 billion in November last year. Kimi’s total capital raised now exceeds 37.6 billion RMB, the highest among large-scale startup development models.
