BlackRock’s Chief Global Investment Strategist Wei Li stated that as part of the artificial intelligence strategy, the asset management company has increased holdings in semiconductor and hardware stocks. Li said on Friday that the AI industry is currently in a developmental stage, and it is still unclear whether the dominant players will be model providers, computing providers, or companies with strong data and intellectual property. Li cited off-grid power generation as an example, pointing out that advances in energy production technology enable companies to increase capital expenditure. Additionally, with tech stock valuations having “returned” to levels consistent with the overall market, these trends support BlackRock’s overweight stance on AI and U.S. stocks. (Cailian Press)
