Patrick Witt also said that updates related to the U.S. Strategic Bitcoin Reserve are expected to be released “within the next few weeks.” He added that, based on Donald Trump’s executive order, the government is currently auditing, consolidating, and integrating the custody of crypto assets held by federal agencies. The reserve mechanism will still need to be formally established through legislation in Congress.
