Crypto Watch news, Spot Bitcoin ETF has addressed the long-standing barrier to entry for cryptocurrencies by placing Bitcoin into brokerage and advisory accounts that are already used for stocks and bonds.

Nevertheless, experts at Coindesk's Consensus Miami conference stated that issues such as custody centralization, low advisor acceptance, and backend processes still remain.
Currently, there are about 12 US spot Bitcoin ETFs with a total asset value of approximately $107 billion, including about $20 billion from institutional hedge funds, $12.5 billion allocated by registered investment advisors, and 60% held in direct retail accounts.
Although these figures seem substantial, they are still a small fraction compared to the $146 trillion in assets under management by advisors.
