Blackstone, Goldman said to back Anthropic in $1.5B JV
Blackstone, Goldman Sachs, and Hellman & Friedman have formed a new $1.5 billion joint venture to deploy Anthropic PBC’s AI across their portfolios. Each of the three main companies will invest $300 million, with Goldman Sachs and General Atlantic also contributing $150 million each. The new, unnamed consulting company plans to expand access to Anthropic’s AI tools, including Claude Code software, in commercial markets.
