Techub News reports that, according to Bloomberg, blockchain software company BTQ Technologies' former Chief Operating Officer Nicolas Roussy Newton has been barred by a federal judge from leaking company trade secrets through two website domains. Newton is the brother of the company's current CEO and is accused of disseminating sensitive documents to the media and regulators, as well as threatening the company's lawyers. The court ruled that Newton's actions have caused harm to BTQ, including defamatory statements accusing his brother of "attempted murder." The injunction was signed by U.S. District Judge Sharad H. Desai, prohibiting Newton from continuing to use the relevant domains to disclose the company's confidential information.
