CryptoWorld News reports that Iranian President Pezeshkian held a phone call with French President Macron on May 6 local time to discuss the latest regional situation. He said that Iran does not trust the United States, emphasizing that this distrust is rooted in hostile actions by the U.S. The most recent example, he noted, is that the U.S. attacked Iran twice during negotiations, which is seen as “stabbing from behind.” Macron said that restoring calm in the Strait of Hormuz would help advance negotiations on nuclear issues and regional affairs.
