🤔 #BTC Bitcoin OG Adam Back: Denies Being Satoshi Nakamoto
On April 10, 2026, in an interview with Bloomberg Podcasts, Bitcoin OG Adam Back denied speculation that he is Satoshi Nakamoto. He stated that the current discussions lack new evidence and provided three technical arguments:
First, he would have used the privacy technology described in the paper by Sander and Ta-Shma.
Second, the original Bitcoin code contains cryptographic formatting errors that he would never have made.
Third, IRC logs still contain records of him asking other developers to explain the details of Bitcoin at the time.
