Former Georgia Bank Assistant Manager Charged in $4.9M Mail Theft Case

The DOJ charged a former Georgia bank assistant manager over an alleged mail theft scheme tied to a stolen $4.9 million U.S. Treasury check. Federal prosecutors said the Secret Service seized more than $4.7 million from fraudulent accounts and charged four people after a March 24 grand jury indictment.
