The Importance of Private Key Management

As the saying goes, "Not your keys, not your coins." In 2026, with the rise of sophisticated phishing attacks, managing your private keys has never been more critical. Using a hardware wallet for your long-term holdings and a separate "hot wallet" for daily trading is a standard best practice. Never share your seed phrase with anyone, and always double-check the URL of the websites you are connecting to. Security is a continuous process, not a one-time setup. Being your own bank comes with the responsibility of being your own security officer.
