Telegram Plans to Become TON's Largest Validator
Pavel Durov said Telegram plans to become TON’s largest validator and roll out related changes over the next two to three weeks. Durov said TON fees had dropped sixfold to nearly zero and that Telegram would add a new website, new developer tools and performance upgrades. CoinGecko data showed Toncoin rose 33.8% over the past 24 hours to $1.86 after Durov’s post. Telegram has not disclosed how its validator position would be structured or what role the TON Foundation would keep after the shift.
