Techub News reports that, according to U.Today, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson said that Flare founder Hugo Phillin recently claimed on the X platform that Flare has surpassed Cardano in DeFi metrics, which has a six-year first-mover advantage. This move is seen as a "2022 old trick" to use Cardano's name to attract media attention. Phillin denied that this was an attack, stating that he only cited objective on-chain data from DeFi Llama, and mocked Cardano's slow development progress, even offering Hoskinson Flare's 2027 strategic roadmap for "reference."
