Coin World News reports that, according to Lebanon's International Broadcasting Corporation (LBCI), the third round of peace talks between Israel and Lebanon could take place as early as next week. The negotiations are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday or Thursday and Friday in Washington, D.C. The Lebanese delegation will include former Ambassador to Washington Simon Karam, current Ambassador to Washington Nader Hamadeh Muawad, Deputy Chief of Mission and Consul Vissam Botros, as well as representatives from the Lebanese military. To prepare for the talks, the current ambassador to Washington met with members of the U.S. Secretary of State Blinken's team on Monday and Tuesday. The two sides discussed the upcoming Israel-Lebanon meeting, and the ambassador provided U.S. officials with a list of alleged violations of existing agreements by Israel, emphasizing the importance of a ceasefire.
