Lately I've been debating whether to go with the mainnet or Layer2 again. Honestly, the mainnet is like a busy highway—very secure but sometimes the gas fees are so high they make you want to turn off your phone; Layer2 feels smoother to use, with transfers and interactions that aren't so painful, but with my experience of falling into traps, I still think twice: the bridge over there, then bridging back, don’t get lazy and end up confusing yourself.

My current compromise is: small, frequent transactions stay on L2, but for long-term holdings or granting a bunch of permissions, I’ll eventually consolidate everything back into the mainnet cold storage. Also, a quick reminder—don’t just click around granting permissions because gas is cheap; many phishing scams take advantage of your “cheap trial” mindset.

Recently, everyone’s talking about rate cut expectations, the dollar index, and how risk assets rise and fall together. Listening to that makes me even less eager to tinker… When the market is hot, I get itchy hands, but I’m more afraid not of missing out, but of rushing and sending assets into a black hole. That’s it for now, taking it slow.
