My husband said he’s going to have a barbecue with his high school friends at the end of the month.

We agreed on five families, each bringing their kids, and none of the wives are going.
He even added, “Everyone’s bringing their kids, why don’t you bring our kid along too? They’re all friends, it’ll be easy.”
Out of the five families, I’m the only woman going. Do I even need to imagine what the scene will be like?
