Ackman Says Quality Stocks Still Look Cheap as Pershing Deploys Fresh Capital

Bill Ackman said Pershing Square recently raised $5 billion and has deployed about 35% of that capital because he still sees attractive valuations in quality stocks. Ackman said the market trades in the low 20s times earnings versus a historical average of 16-17 times, but he argued that today’s biggest companies are higher-quality and faster-growing. Ackman also said every company now faces the question of whether AI will disrupt or enhance its business.
