"Rabbighfir warham wa anta khayrur rahimin" (رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ) is an extremely virtuous and short supplication from the Holy Quran, which is mentioned in verse 118 of Surah Al-Mu'minun [3, 5, 6]. Its meaning is: "O my Lord! Forgive and have mercy; You are the best of merciful ones" [6]. It is one of the best ways to seek forgiveness and mercy from Allah.

Pronunciation: Rabbighfir warham wa anta khayrur rahimin.
Arabic: رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ [5].
Translation: O my Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the most merciful [5, 6].

Virtues and times of use:
In prostration: The Prophet (pbuh) instructed to recite this supplication frequently during prostration [6].

For protection from calamities: Reciting this supplication is very effective in seeking relief from any hardship and asking for Allah’s mercy [10].
