Looking at DAO voting proposals for a while, it’s a bit like reading a manual for “who can take an extra bite”: on the surface, it’s about public interest, but a closer look at incentive distribution, voting thresholds, delegation rules, the power structure is all in the fine print. Frankly, many disputes aren’t about right or wrong, but about who finds it easier and who is harder to kick out of the table.

Recently, the debate in the community about privacy coins/mixing compliance also feels similar, also wrapped in “values” packaging. When it comes to proposals, it’s about: do you need to use your real name, should the front end be blocked, who makes the decision, and if they get it wrong, who takes the blame. Anyway, before I vote now, I first look for a sentence: does this proposal make someone stronger or more exhausted… I read it carefully before clicking, otherwise I’d rather not participate and just sleep.
