I see everyone getting caught up in Meme and celebrity calls, with attention shifting so quickly... veteran players say not to take the final baton, but I'm not that clever either, it's just that cross-chain stuff has trained me to stay calm.

One cross-chain/message passing, to put it simply, isn't just about "moving tokens over"; you're trusting a series of things at once: the source chain itself won't rollback, the other chain won't freak out; the proof/light client system (like IBC, which is relatively easier to understand) is implemented properly; the relay/relayer isn't messing around; not to mention many bridges also involve multi-signatures/oracles/administrator switches, even if just one part loosens, the money follows suit.

My own habit is pretty simple: before cross-chain, I first review the authorization and signature records like a health check, and casually check if the bridge's permission model is "someone can quickly rescue the fire and also quickly start the fire." After doing these, I confirm slowly—taking my time—because earning a little less is better than losing sleep.
