Recently, I saw someone summarize nine pretty interesting life “mysticism” (metaphysics). I think it really makes sense, and I want to share it with everyone.

First, dressing—this really isn’t empty talk. In this day and age, the first impression is extremely important. Your aura and your image often determine other people’s initial judgment of you. “Words intimidate a gentleman; appearance disciplines a petty person” is exactly the meaning of this. Sloppiness and being refined truly bring different kinds of luck—so you could say this is a kind of metaphysics, too.

Then, everything should be kept in moderation. When you eat, don’t eat too full. When dealing with others, don’t be too kind. When helping, don’t help too much. In relationships, don’t give too much of yourself. I used to fall for this, and only later did I realize that excessive giving often just results in being taken for granted. Moderation is wisdom.

There’s also something very important: don’t think about changing someone. Everyone has their own life path and fate, including your partner and your children. Trying to force changes will only bring pain. If you accept this, life will feel much easier.

When you run into unfavorable things, pause for a moment first—that’s a sign of maturity. Impulsiveness is the biggest enemy. When you calm down, you often can see a lot more clearly. When things are handled slowly, they tend to turn out rounded and complete; staying unruffled is already pretty good. These old sayings are truly wisdom that feels like metaphysics.

I especially agree with “getting in sync and resonating.” Your mindset determines what kind of people and things you attract. When you’re full of negative energy, good things naturally stay away from you. To turn your luck around, you need to adjust your “frequency” first—make yourself happy first, and good luck will naturally follow.

Let the past be the past. Each time you flip the page and move on is a form of healing for yourself. Some things can’t be done—in fact, it’s Heaven protecting you. When the electricity is cut and the car won’t start, or even when that person wants to break up, you need to remember: when you get something, treat it with gratitude and cherish it; when you lose something, that’s my fate—then I’ll flip the page and move on. This kind of mindset is truly life wisdom at a metaphysics level.

Finally, it’s about mindset and taboos. People can be “killed” by anger, and flowers can be “killed” by overwatering. Serious illnesses often have something to do with long-term emotions. The core of health preservation is mindset—when your mood is good, everything is good. Also, don’t complain and curse yourself. Things like “a single saying becomes true” really can happen. So either don’t speak at all, or if you do, speak properly and kindly.

These nine things may seem like metaphysics, but in reality, they’re all lessons drawn from experience. Whether you believe it or not is up to you—but for those who follow them, life really tends to go a lot more smoothly.
