Core Scientific will acquire Bitcoin mining company Polaris for $421 million, expanding the Oklahoma artificial intelligence data center campus.

Deep Tide TechFlow News, May 6th, according to The Block, Core Scientific has agreed to acquire Oklahoma-based Bitcoin mining company Polaris DS LLC for $421 million. The deal is expected to be completed in Q3 2026, pending regulatory approval. This acquisition will add 440 megawatts of contracted power to Core Scientific to accelerate its artificial intelligence and high-density computing business expansion. The 40-acre campus in Muskogee where Polaris is located has been energized and put into operation, adjacent to Core Scientific’s existing facilities. Core Scientific is transforming and expanding its existing Bitcoin mining facilities into data centers focused on artificial intelligence and high-performance computing.
