I just read an article about Satoshi Nakamoto's wealth, and something doesn't add up. They say his fortune is 1.28 trillion dollars, but at the current Bitcoin price of around 82,000 dollars, even if he has a million BTC, that would be more like 82 billion, not 1.28 trillion. The numbers don't match.
And then there's this absurd contradiction — first they write that Nakamoto has never sold a single Bitcoin, and right after, they claim that he stopped selling after Steve Jobs' death. Well, which version is it? Never sold or stopped selling after 2011? Does anyone even read this before publishing?
The theory that Satoshi is Steve Jobs? Seriously? Just speculation. Some say Nakamoto isn't even a person, but an organization. Other theories about North Korea and Bitcoin thefts are probably just too much fantasy. Satoshi Nakamoto's wealth remains a mystery, but articles with logical errors and silly conspiracy theories don't really help.
Maybe all this fuss about Nakamoto's identity and wealth is precisely because no one really knows who is behind Bitcoin. But writing such contradictions is just going too far.
