South Korean Crypto Firms Push Back on Travel Rule Below 1 Million Won

South Korea’s crypto industry asked regulators to reconsider a plan to apply the Travel Rule to transfers below 1 million won. The rule now requires sender information only for transfers of 1 million won or more. Industry representatives said broader checks could delay deposits, and the Financial Services Commission is collecting opinions until May 11.
