I'm now looking at the PFP/membership set, and it's becoming more and more like "buying an ID badge." In the short term, it can definitely catch people's attention and create a lively atmosphere in the group for a few days, but whether it can last depends on whether there are ongoing rights and operations later on. Otherwise, it just becomes a bunch of "once trendy" avatars in my wallet... To put it plainly, if a brand truly wants to do long-term, it needs to make people willing to use it repeatedly and come back repeatedly, rather than just relying on floor prices to stimulate emotions.

Recently, the issue of royalties has flared up again, and it's quite realistic: creators want income, secondary markets want liquidity, and those caught in the middle are us retail investors... Personally, I now prefer to spend money on experiences that "save gas/allow batch processing/require fewer steps." If membership can make interactions smoother, I would find it worthwhile.

You said "PFPs are like lottery tickets"... I understand, but I still can't help but want to try the new chain. Never mind.
