It's interesting how the economic situation is changing in different parts of the world. I was looking at current data on the poorest countries in the world, and it's really depressing reading. South Sudan, Burundi, and the Central African Republic top the list of countries with the lowest GDP per capita. When you look at the African continent, you see a concentration of the poorest countries—Democratic Republic of the Congo, Niger, Mozambique, Malawi... The list of the poorest countries in the world in 2024 shows that the problem of poverty is still mainly concentrated in Sub-Saharan Africa. Liberia and Madagascar are also on the list, and then there's Yemen, which faces its problems mainly due to the political situation. I'm curious if this will change in a few years or if it will stay the same. There are more of the world's poorest countries than one might expect.
