SEI Analyst Says Fed Is Unlikely to Raise Rates Further

SEI analyst Jim Smigiel said the Federal Reserve is unlikely to raise rates further because more tightening could hurt the economy and labor market. Smigiel said other major central banks may still track the Fed’s policy path because of exchange-rate and capital-market stability concerns.
