You know when you're looking at a post about cryptocurrencies or YouTube and it shows "1K followers," "10K views," "1M dollars"? Like, what is the exact number behind those letters?

Well, it's pretty simple actually. That "K" you see everywhere means thousand. Comes from "kilo." So 1K is literally 1k. If someone says they earned 10K in a month, that's 10k. Basic stuff.

Then there's the M, which is million. 1M = 1M. The difference is huge compared to 1K, right? If you're tracking the growth of an influencer, when they reach 1M followers, it's like a major milestone. It's a thousand times more than 1K.

And there's also the B, which is billion. 1B = 1k,000,000. Now that's a heavy number. When you see a cryptocurrency with a market cap of 1B, you're talking about something well established.

To be clear: 1K is a thousand, 1M is a million, 1B is a billion. It seems obvious when you know, but it's impressive how many people confuse this when looking at investment numbers or online growth.

This kind of notation appears everywhere nowadays. If you're in the freelance, content creator, trader, or any online world, you'll see these terms all the time. Understanding what that 1K or that 100M really means makes all the difference when making decisions about numbers.
